A lot of people in the gaming community, especially in the Twitch community, use or have heard of the term "pog", but not everyone actually knows what it stands for or where it came from.
So let me try and shed some light!

    What "pog" stands for

The term "pog" is simply an abbreviation for "Play Of the Game" (or "Player Of the Game" depending how it is used), and was to be used to describe when a player did something extremely well in an online game match so their action could be described as "play of the game" or made them the "player of the game", which is similar "MVP", which is an abbreviation that stands for "Most Valuable Player".
Today it is most frequently used when something amazing happens unexpectedly in a game, similar to when "wow" is used.
"Pog" is also a BTTV emote, which is a face of of Ryan Gutierrez (read about "PogChamp" below to know who he is) as shown below:

    What "PogChamp" stands for

The term "PogChamp" has, however, two sides to it.
First of all, the term "PogChamp" is a conjunction of the terms "pog" and "champ", which together creates the expression "play of the game champion" or "player of the game champion".
Also, "PogChamp" was also an official Twitch emote based on an excited and a surprised face of the professional Street Fighter player Ryan "Gootecks" Gutierrez during outtakes of the Cross Counter TV video from 2010, as seen below.
The facial expression became so viral thanks to communities such as 4Chan started to use it in their discussion threads, which later spread over to Twitch officially adopting it as well one of their emotes.
However, in January 2021, Twitch stopped using Ryan Gutierrez's face as the emote due to controversial Ryan's tweets regarding the protests taking place at Washington D.C., where the protesters stormed the United States Capitol during the certification of the election of President-elect Joe Biden.
Here's what the former Twitch emote looked before it got removed:

    What "poggers" stands for

The term "poggers" is basically an adjective or an adverb of "pog", meaning typically used to express enthusiasm, astonishment or admiration to something. Similar to how you use the word "awesome" and "that's awesome!".
"Pog" is also a BTTV emote, which is a face of Pepe the Frog showing excitement, as shown below.
    Poggers
